How much is tuition?
Tuition for the 2026-27 school year is $4,500.00 for one child; $7,200.00 for two children; and $8,100.00 for three or more children.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, we believe that a dress code creates a positive learning environment, creates a sense of pride and belonging, and eliminates competition among students.
Is bus transportation to St. Charles School available?
Transportation is provided by Greenville Public Schools. The Greenville transit is also an option for students before and after school.
Is St. Charles School accredited?
Yes. St. Charles School is fully accredited through the Michigan Association of Non-public Schools (MANS). As part of the accreditation process, our school undergoes a comprehensive self-study and an extensive on-site review by an external team. This rigorous process evaluates every aspect of our school, including academics, Catholic identity, leadership, governance, student services, and continuous school improvement.

Does St. Charles offer preschool?
We sure do! Our preschool program is fully tailored to meet your needs. Your child is able to come either half or full days and from 2 days to 5 days a week. Please see the attached form for pricing and preferred days for your child to go to preschool.
Does St. Charles offer all-day or half-day kindergarten?
St. Charles has an all-day, every-day kindergarten program.
Does my child have to be Catholic to attend?
St. Charles School accepts children of all faiths. Students participate in religion classes and attend Mass with their class. Non-Catholics do not receive the Sacraments.
Is there a hot lunch program?
St. Charles does not have a hot lunch program but we do offer milk to our students everyday. Students bring in cold lunches, but on Mondays, pizza may be ordered for students.
How large are the class sizes?
The average class size at St. Charles is 12 students.
Are any extracurricular activities offered?
Students at St. Charles School enjoy a variety of extracurricular opportunities that encourage creativity, leadership, faith, and teamwork. Offerings include Art Club, Blue Knights for boys, Little Flowers for girls, Choir, GRACEAC athletics, Interact Club for middle school students, and a variety of educational and enrichment camp opportunities throughout the year.
What are the school hours?
The school day for Kindergarten through 8th grade begins at 7:55 a.m. and ends at 2:55 p.m. Students are asked to arrive by 7:50 to be ready for hall prayer. Preschoolers begin their day at 7:55 a.m. with half-day dismissal at 11:30 a.m. and full-day dismissal at 2:45 p.m.
Do the children attend Mass during the school week?
All Kindergarten through 8th grade students attend Mass on Fridays at 8:30. Every Wednesday, students in grades 5-8 also attend Mass. Students also attend Mass on Holy Days.
Is there First Communion preparation through the school?
In second grade, First Reconciliation and First Communion preparations are taught by the second-grade teacher.
Is the school building safe and secure?
Yes. The safety and well-being of our students and staff is one of our highest priorities. St. Charles School maintains a secure campus with locked exterior doors during the school day, controlled visitor access, a secure entrance system, and a fenced perimeter around our playground areas.
Our school continues to invest in safety enhancements, including updated security systems, classroom door safety devices, and comprehensive emergency procedures. Staff members participate in regular safety training and drills to ensure they are prepared to respond in a variety of situations.

What if my child needs a special service, such as speech therapy?
Ancillary services are provided by the Montcalm Area Intermediate School District. Speech therapy is held two days per week. Other services are available if needed.
